Funeral Notice

Service: Sunday September 13, 2015

A Celebration of the life of Dr Keith Raymond Torode will take place on Friday September 11th, 2015 commencing at 2.00 p.m, at the Colac Bowling Club (Lakeside) Armstrong Street, Colac.

Keith gave many decades of devoted skillful medical and surgical care to the people of the Colac district and to the development of the Colac Hospital He was always calm in confronting situations, his patients felt safe in his knowledge and abilities and he was greatly admired by his medical colleagues.
    He was blessed by a long life, a successful family and a cheerful disposition.

Dr Keith Torode was our family doctor before I was born.Not only did he bring me and my 3 brothers into this world Dr Torode and Dr Sellwood saved my life on a couple of occasions.He was more than a great doctor he was a friend in many ways always wanting to know how you and your family were going.Thanks for all your advice and R.I.P.

  4. Dr Torode delivered our six children and provided dedicated health care to safely guide them to adulthood.
    He was idolised by Kathleen and we were privileged that he was our family doctor for so many years.

  6. Deepest sympathy to Dr Keith Torodes family ,he was our family Dr for many years , delivered our girls , he was a very caring person
    Always asking after our family and hearing what they were up to during their adult lives. -a wonderful employer for many years and after his retirement to Geelong we had many happy times visiting and chatting about our time spent at the hospital surgery and he looked forward to his shortbread biscuits .Lots of wonderful memories to keep.Sorry unable to attend his celebration of life due to unforeseen circumstances.
