A Time to Remember

‘A Time to Remember’ is a non-denominational gathering created to support Colac and District families through the grief and sadness that comes with the death of a loved one.

Over the years this gathering has proven to be a popular and helpful event in supporting families who are dealing with the grief and sadness that comes with the death of a loved one. These emotions can be enhanced by the especially busy and festive time that comes in December and throughout the holiday season.

Quinn Funerals are genuinely honoured to be a part of this function that supports local families across the district. We believe the community and families who attend the service truly value the time spent and come away with a positive attitude and feeling toward how they can remember their loss and cope with their grief.

We should remember that grief is a natural and instinctive response to loss. It can affect every aspect of your life and sometimes consume it. There is no right or wrong way to getting through a period of grief, however, over time you find ways to work through dealing with your loss in a healthy way.

Remembering your loved one during special occasions is an important step toward this. During the service, there will be a time for you to light a candle, take a carnation and reflect on the memories you shared with your loved one.
