Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Reunited with her husband Myles (dec). Loved mother and mother in law of Ros and Darrell, Pam and Ray (dec) and, Reece and Sarah. Adored Nana of Malarie, Sharee and Renee; Sasha and Chloe; Jack, Teddy and Lillian. Cherished Great Nana of Tori and Myles; Arlia, Hamish and Hallie; Tijani, Ethan and Evie.

The Funeral of Mrs. Irene Black will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac, on Friday, July 2, 2021 commencing at 2.00 p.m.
The Funeral will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery

Fond memories of the 3CS days and the many nights we spent keeping each other company whilst Myles and Peter were off on outside broadcasts. Although it has been many years since I last saw you our friendship continued through our annual Christmas correspondence.
I'll always treasure the warm welcome you gave to me when I became part of the 3CS family - along with the wisdom, support, guidance on motherhood when Heather was born but most of all memories of those long nights sharing so many laughs, meals and numerous cups of tea. So sad Reece- my thoughts are with you and your family. I have many fond memories with your mum , your dad and yourself growing up working at “Silver Screen” altogether, and I will always value, cherish and never forget them fun days we all shared. It only feels like yesterday. I really looked up to your mum (and your dad Miles). Irene I was so proud to call my Aunty, she was the only real “aunty” I looked up to in my family (and who had time for me) and the only one I actually called “Aunty”. She was an amazing lady, fun to be with and very hard working- you should be so proud! Thank you Aunty Irene for my childhood memories and helping me to become who I am today!

Fond memories of Irene and Myles when Myles and I worked together at 3CS. Over the years I would occasionally run into Irene up the street and catch up with the news, a gentle soul, always a smile. VALE IRENE. To the family - know you are being thought of at this sad time.
