My sincerest heartfelt condolences are extended to dear Brett and the extended Dickason and Nicol families. Sending you all bouquets of love and many comforting prayers during this very sad and difficult time. Robyn was one very special and lovely lady. I am so saddened and shocked to hear of Robyn’s early passing.
Robyn and myself go back over 30 years of knowing each other and were great mates, often having a lovely catchup chat on the street. Your happy smile and cheerful personality will be very much missed.
The Colac Herald Office and Charles Stewart Real Estate, plus all whom who had the honour and privilege of knowing Robyn, were all the ‘richer’’ for knowing her. You were such a.kind, considerate, compassionate, wise and inspiring personality and these were just few of the amazing attributes I admired so much about you Robyn.
You were one of a kind, dear Robyn. I remember so clearly how delighted my heart was when heard the wonderful news that you had both fallen in love with each other, and having know Brett a few years longer then Robyn, just knew how happy your journey into marriage and beyond would be, just am so sad that this journey together had to end so soon.
God saw how weary you were and has gently closed your eyes and has taken you home as another beautiful 🌹 for his Heavenly Garden. RIP dear friend in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, until we meet again. May the aroma of your presence continue to permeate throughout every corner and aspect of Brett’’s home and life as he continues to draw strength and comfort from abiding more and more in the loving kindness and presence of his loving God.
You will be very missed Robyn. Lots of love and comforting prayers to Brett.xxxxx🌹🌹🌹🌹xxxxxxx. -

Robyn – We are very sad to hear of your death. We have great memories of the fun times we had at The Colac Herald. Who could forget the poems about staff, staff nicknames, the very long and unforgetable Valentine’s message, hitting the boys on the knuckles with the ruler, calling people “Lovie” often simply because you could not remember their name. The greatest memory for us was the “Staff Newsletter” that you edited featuring a page called “Gossip from the Tea Room”….OMG….we all got a turn in that!!! So much laughter when you were around. Rest peacefully Robsy. Our sympathy to Brett. From Carol and Helen. XX

I only knew Robyn from Twitter. Twitter is a medium where you can find out who people are from just a few words, and from those few words you can make surprisingly strong connections with people. Robyn was one of those people who made me smile when I saw her tweets. She was intelligent, funny, insightful and kind. We talked about Tim Minchin and dogs and politics, whatever was the topic of the day. She always made my day better. I’m so sad she’s gone, it’s too soon. Twitter is a sadder place without her. I will miss her. A lot.
Shedding a few tears and Sending love and big tight hugs to her family and those who loved her. -

Rob, I will always smile remembering our friendship. So many memories. The sheet metal room at the Tech School and road trips to Freeman’s. Staying down at the Bay and bushwalking or just talking on the phone for hours.
Saturday nights dancing our hearts out at the Hampden in Camperdown, Skyhooks at the Lyric, Mental as Anything at the Collendina Boat Shed and cheeky Brian Manix. Carrying a banner together in the Kana parade.
Your smile, your laugh and your incredible presence touched everyone you knew, we are all the better having known you Rob and your beautiful spirit will live on.
Sincere condolences to Brett and your family.
Journey well old friend.

My heart and thoughts go out to you Brett and your family. Robyn certainly was a unique person, one of a kind. Assunta and I feel privileged to have shared so many good times with you both in Apex. Robyn and you made the best of couples. Where ever Robin worked she brought that extra ray of sunshine. Whenever we met or she answered my phone call we always enjoyed a laugh and naughty banter leaving me with a smile on my face, that extra bit of joy would last for the day simply because I had the privilege of speaking with Robyn. I really wish I could be present there for you today Brett. Our thoughts, our sympathies and our love we extend to you. Max and Assunta Arnott
