Dearly loved husband of Jean for 61 years. Adored father of Susan (McGann) and Kate.
Admired father-in-law of Tony and Graeme. Pop to Grace and Tom, Edwina and Josh, Will, Danielle, Charlie and Libby. Great grandfather of Jojo, Cami, Quinn and Vinny.
Son of Frank and Vi (both dec), and youngest brother of Flo (Oakley) (dec), Bill, Don (dec) and Aileen (Larson).

Get directionsThe Funeral of Mr. Francis Whitehead will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 commencing at 10am.
The Funeral will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.

My deepest sympathy to Jean, Sue, Kate and all the family on your loss.
Frank was such a presence in our lives. His sense of humour was so cheeky. I remember the Last Laugh Comedy Club in Collingwood and his antics there had the whole room laughing.
It was always so lovely to see him with his little silky haired terrier and his joy for life. His love of finches and his true love of nature. There were so many wonderful times and memories.
My Dad Ken truly loved him as a friend. Thanks Frank for your friendship and love.

Vale Frank - a gentle giant of a man, good humoured, huge smile and nothing those great big hands couldn't do on a farm. Probably the nearest thing to a best friend my dad ever had. Sold him Ponderosa and then kept his farm in pristine shape for a lifetime... I always enjoyed seeing him. My deepest condolences to Jean, Susan and all the family.
