Loved husband of Anthea (dec). Father of Susan (dec), Richard and Peter. Father-in-law of Graydon, Honnie and Belinda. Grandad of Charlotte and Nicholas; Olly and William; Alexander and Matthew.

Get directionsThe Funeral of Mr. Frank Kervin will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac on Thursday, May 7, 2026 commencing at 11am.
The Funeral will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.

Ah Frank... you were like a dad as was Anthea a Mum to me when I first started working with you both, being only 17 you both took me in way back in 1996 and showed me the ropes and enjoyed many stories over the years particularly the army trips and the shenanigans you got upro, and how proud you were of your family. May you now be united with Anthea. And I sincerely apologise to family for missing Franks farewell.

Frank was a good friend to me when I arrived in Colac as a new graduate vet and a Vietnam deferree. It happened that I arrived in Colac for my job interview by hitch hiking from Melbourne after flying into Essendon from Sydney. When I left Colac to move to Melbourne I no longer had a work car and Frank insisted that he would take me and my final belongings to my digs in Camberwell. He was not having me hitch hiking out of Colac.

Dear Peter and Richard and families, and extended Kervin families. So sorry to hear of Frank’s passing.
We were unable to attend the service today, but were able to view the livestream.

Frank was very good to me as a young man.
He did things his way.
After too many years it was great to catch up for a few hours last December and again recently.

I have good memories of time shared working at Colac Herd Improvement, and with Maxine the continued meetings with Frank and Anthea over the years, and reunited with Anthea again
