Passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a long illness.

Loved wife of Peter for 50 years. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Andrew, Eric and Kellie; and Lorraine. Very much loved Grandma of Hayden, Symantha and Amelie.

No longer in pain.

Funeral Notice

Service: Wednesday April 10, 2019

The Funeral of Mrs Shirley Rose Bennett will be held at the Colac Uniting Church, cnr Hesse and Manifold Streets, Colac on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 commencing at 1:30 p.m.

The Funeral will leave the Church at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Long Road Appeal would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the service.

A friend since Primary School at Alvie Consolidated School, were we began our prep year together some 65 years ago. Our long chats in supermarket while shopping were always filled with great memories of times past, RIP Shirley.
