Passed away peacefully at St. John of God Geelong.
Dearly loved Husband of 53 years to Hilda. Loved father to Lisa, Melissa and Warren. Father in-law to Toby and Bevan.
Pa to Jaymin, Hayley, Brad, Sharie, Luke, Mackala, Tahlia and Darcy. Great grandfather to Alyssa and Ella, and Baby Pearce

Funeral notice
Wednesday August 09, 2023
The Funeral of Mr. Roy Bentley will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 commencing at 1.30 p.m. The Funeral will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.

I'll always remember the 'orientation shifts' I worked with Roy when I first arrived to work at the Colac police station. A good man who made me very welcome. Deepest sympathy to Hilda and family.

Dear Pa,
I will always remember the fond memories we had together as a family i will miss our beautiful conversation's we had and when we had family dinners together like our Birthdays, Easters, Christmases and many more. Also you did a very tremendous job with the Colac Police Force, Made a great chairman for the Colac District Lawn Bowls

I’m very sad to see this.
I have fond memories of Roy from early years in Colac to later years in Forrest, loved having chats with him whenever we caught up at the Forrest pub or the local footy or pulling me up just to chat.
