Beloved husband of Joyce, together for 46 years, 10 months and 9 days. Dad of Julie and Alister, Carolyn and Mark, Peter and Jorja, Matthew and Kathy, Michael and Tess. Grandad of Cameron and Ali, Stephen, Jarrod, Patrick, Andrew, Joshua, William, Lydia, Jacinta, Damon, Katelyn (dec), Jensen, Sophie, Hannah, Henry, Alexander and Tobias. Great grandad of Hayley, Oliver and Oscar.

1. It was a pleasure working with John in the CFA and developing a friendship, after first meeting him while teaching Peter at TAFE .
   An extremely generous man always prepared to pass on knowledge and experience.
