  3. Well Bert, there was always a fishing 🎣 tale about the one that got away.🤣
The trips you Barb and family took to Hervey Bay for many years. The memories and stories the family will have from those.
Bert, you were always friendly, chat to anyone. Give a helping hand, to those in need, without a second thought and expecting nothing in return.
But most of all, was the love for your family. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️

  4. Finding the right words is difficult, but we are so grateful for the time we had with him.

He was a much-loved father to Roger, father-in-law to myself, and Pop to our 4 kids.

His playfulness, support, and the role he played in our lives will never be forgotten. We appreciate everything he did for us and all of the times he brightened our day.

He will be missed so very much, and always remembered with love and gratitude ❤️

  5. Thankful for so many memories to cherish - whether it was playing cards, sitting outside Nan’s each summer watching the Christmas lights, or renovating houses together - I’m grateful for them all.

We were so lucky to have your cheeky self. You always had our backs and never failed to make us laugh.

My heart breaks for Dad, knowing how terribly he’ll miss you, as I know so many will.
Sending love and strength to Barb and all the other kids and grandkids as we say goodbye xx
