The Funeral of Mr. Roderick James Blake will be held at the Colac Lawn Cemetery, Gravesend Street, Colac on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 commencing at 11.00 a.m

Our neighbour,friend and Pa across 30 years.
We are all so sad you are gone but will hold on to the many memories we share.
Your wonderful veggie garden, too many meals to count, hanging out in the front yard in the evenings over summer waiting for the houses to cool down and always a giving each other a hand with projects at each others homes.The big breakfasts for your birthday and fathers day and the walks you took around the neighbourhood. There was always plenty of cheek and banter you would often say "You always gotta have a bit of fun don't you" and we would agree.
You had an extra special relationship with Siobhan (your foster grandaughter)
She loved spending time with you and sharing all of her ups and downs knowing you would be there to listen and make her feel safe and loved.
It has been a blessing to have you in our lives.
We would also like to pass on our deepest sympathy to Blakey's family.

My Dearest Rod
We had a wonderful 26 years together.We were like two peas in a pod and managed to fit a lifetime worth of memories in those years.
I will think of you all the time and cherish the love we shared.
I will miss our laughter,car trips and quiet moments together.
I wish our time wasn't cut so short and look forward to the day Beau and I will see you again.
Until then,know that my heart is always with you and I love you to the moon and back just like you told me you love me to Sydney and back.
Beau and I miss you very much,and we know you are watching over us now.We can't wait to hear your voice again.
