Passed away peacefully on December 1st, 2018, at Colac Hospital aged 76 years, surrounded by his loving family.
Peter was a gentle, kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. To quote his words ” I have had a good and happy life with no regrets”
Will be sadly missed by Phyl; Kate, Greg, Olivia and Harry; Matthew; Sara, Mark, Holly, Oliver and Hugo.
Funeral Notice
Service: Thursday December 6, 2018The Funeral of Mr. Peter William Borwick will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place 15 Skene Street, Colac on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 commencing at 10.30 a.m.
In accordance with family wishes, Peter will be Privately cremated.
No flowers by request, in lieu donations to the Colac Hospital would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the service

Uncle Peter, always with a smile with some cheeky machinations behind it, a people person, he loved to be with family, friends and always willing share a joke and making the implausible, plausible.
His running gag for all of us was that we were his favourite, “here’s my favourite sister in law Judy, give us a kiss, here’s my favorite nephew, you get the drift. I’ve never know my life without my Uncle Peter and he will be truly missed.
Our thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences are with Phyllis, Kate, Matthew, Sara and their families.“If the wind will not serve, take to the oars”

We are saddened and heartbroken to say that our gentle, but strong father/Pa has passed. In true ‘Rooze’ style, it was a beautiful, calm and; peaceful moment when he drew his final breath.
The level of care he received from Mum at home has been remarkable and a great comfort to my family because we know we wouldn’t have had Dad for as long as we did without her continuous love and dedication to him.
Rooze/Pa, you were patient, brave, selfless to the end and life without your smile will be a very different one…
