Born Wednesday May 01, 1957. Passed away Sunday March 23, 2025.
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Anam Cara House following a recent MND diagnosis and rapid decline in his health.
Loved Father of 3 beautiful girls that he shared with Linda ~ Marni, Hannah and Josephine.
Beloved brother of Grace, Michael, Steven and Carmen.
Funeral notice
A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Francis Joseph Carmel Briffa will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1 Nelson St, Apollo Bay on Thursday, April 3, 2025 commencing at 3pm.
Following the service, you are invited to proceed to the harbour to farewell Frank and then enjoy some fish and chips together.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Anam Cara House.

Words rite now can’t be heard only tears of a kind funny soft caring friend , memories of “ 0pp shop chores” we shared, coffee and his love of biscuits & cakes & a little dog oh of coarse & his garden !!!!! Frank taught me a bit about growing veggies & passed on his spare plant w instructions lol

My sincere condolences to Linda and the girls. Always a cheerful, helpful and friendly mate. This was a shock and if anyway I could have been able to travel today I would be there to pay my respect s to Frank and see you all. My apologies. I will be thinking of you all today.
