Tributes
Leave a tributeOh Sandra, my heartfelt thoughts go out to you and all your family as I read the very sad news of your Mum.
I did not believe what I was reading, as the last time I was talking with you before I went on holidays, you were going home to begin some cooking in preparation for your Mum’s birthday.
I did not know either of your parents, but it is obvious they were both extremely well respected and loved members of the community and may the obvious pride that comes with that, along with all the beautiful family memories you have, help you “travel this difficult road ahead”.
Thinking of you

My heart is with you in this time of deep sorrow.
Your mum was a remarkably kind woman .. strong, loving, and full of grace. And your dad, just weeks earlier, left behind such a legacy of warmth and kindness.
Their love for you all was always clear, and I hope you can find some comfort in knowing how deeply they were loved by so many people , and how proud they would be of you all now. Please know I’m holding you close in my thoughts and sending you all my love.

Fond memories of Mrs B at the Alvie school when I was a kid, even told we were related by marriage! As an adult I’d talk to her down the street and be amazed how she never aged still looking the same as she was at Alvie! I had the privilege of re connecting as a community care worker and we joked how I had trouble calling her by her first name as it was always Mrs B! To the Buchanan family sorry for your loss.
A beautiful soul, RIP Mrs BJune 03, 2025 6:12 pm
My deepest condolences to Lynette’s family. She wasn’t with us long but she definitely made a few friends and loved to have a chat about her beloved family. She amazed me how she remembered everyone but she would name everyone in her picture and was a very proud great Grannie. RIP Lynette 😘
