Fond memories of Shirley helping her dad supplying pies at St.Brendan’s Coragulac – especially the fish pies provided on Fridays which were delicious as well as the apricot pies as an alternative to the meat. Shirley was always gracious and attentive giving wonderful support to her dad.

My thoughts are with the Burns family. Shirley was an incredibly generous person and a wonderful neighbour. Shirley always treated myself and my sister like her own grandchildren. Will always fondly remember visiting her and getting freshly baked scones after helping Andy milk the cows.
Rest in peace Shirley -
My deepest sympathy to all the Burns families x. She was a lovely lady, I have a whole childhood of memories with Shirley in them. From her coming to Grandparents day at kinder or school, cooking in the kitchen, walks around her garden and sleepovers.
She always greeted you with a smile.
Love always Jane DeBaere ❤ -
My sincere condolences to Shirley’s family. I first knew Shirley and Andy as a child through their friendship with my parents Pauline and Syd Goonan. In adult life my association deepened as I joined the Colac Quota club which morphed into The Meriba Service Club. Shirley was a kind and compassionate lady who personified the ideals of a life well lived. Such a loss to our district and those who loved her dearly. Much admired and missed. Jennie Scott.
