  3. Many a Saturday night at your place creating mischief around the neighbourhood, the overnight stays so I could play hockey, the many hours in the pool and being able to pop next door to the shop to buy a sonnyboy was just amazing for me.
But most of all was our time together on Christmas Day, one of the best days of my childhood life, spending the day with all my Aunties, Uncles and many cousins.
You were known to myself and my brothers as the auntie we could all come to “for a chat and advice”.
Auntie Anne, you will be missed and my thoughts are with Uncle Laurie, Paul, Donna and Nic.
    Rest peacefully.

  15. Dear Laurie,
So happy we were block neighbors for so many years. Anne would discuss all sorts of issues with me at the fence as we visited the shop regularly. She was always happy and we sorted out many ups and downs together. Sorry to hear of her passing.

  21. My love goes to you all at this sad time. I was so grateful that we could be at Anne’s funeral on the internet. I am going to miss Anne greatly. During my illness with Breast Cancer and all of my treatment Anne has been a great comfort to me. She would call me regularly and we would talk and talk. I was so aware of what she was going through and here she was calling me to make sure I was OK. I felt very humbled and so cared for. I had been visiting Anne but then I was stuck at home for the past year very sick and Anne returned those visits via her calls. As I am still having treatment I miss Anne, she has so left a gap, but I know that she is in such a good place and I know that she will still see me through this. What a lady…such strength in her soul with all that she faced. I was so lucky that we struck up such a connection. Anne was so beautiful in her heart and I am so incredibly sorry for your loss Laurie and all the family. Her love was so great for her family. How she loved to talk about you all. You were indeed so lucky to have her. Geraldine x
