Tributes

  1. Dearest Ernie, you welcomed us as neighbours and together with Julie, Andrew and David, taught us about the land and supported and nurtured our young family.
You will be long remembered for your kindness, knowledge and cheeky sense of humour.

  2. Sincere condolences to Ernies family and friends from his cousin Marion and Jim (dec) Russell and children Peter Helen john and Genevieve.
Ernie was always a part of our visits to grand parents Tom and Edith at Charleys Creek.
He spent hours and hours driving us around with the tractor and trailer while we "helped him feed the cows"
I remember his fitness where he could place the back of his hands on the ground whilst keeping his legs straight.
I also remember his trip away from the farm to watch the Beatles at Festival Hall. He came home with a plastic wig that copied Pauls "long" hair cut.
Good BYe Ernie and thanks for so many happy memories

  3. Deepest sympathies to Andrew, David and their families.
We will always remember the first time we met Ernie and Julie our wonderful neighbours, you welcomed us into your home like we were your family, just like surrogate grandparents.
There are so many memories we will cherish them always.
    Love Always
