Loved wife of Barry (dec). Treasured mum and mother-in-law of Barry and Amanda, Mark (dec), Suzie, Tania, Bron and Chris McGuane. Adored nanny of Reannen and Rowan, Imogen, Gemma, Lucas, Stella and Harrison.
Daughter of Jack and Molly Shaw (both dec). Loving sister of Joy Foreman (dec), Mal Hall and Jan McElroy-Keast.
Now re-united with Dad and Mark.

Get directionsThe Funeral of Mrs. Margaret June Castle will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 commencing at 11am.
The Funeral will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.
For those who are unable to attend, a live-stream link will be made available shortly.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Anam Cara House Colac would be greaty appreciated by the family. Envelopes will be available at the service.

What can i say!
There is so much Margaret did for our family and more importantly for me during very dark periods.
I owe Margaret so much for her positivity and compassion.
May you be safe in the arms of jesus, reunited with all those who have gone before her.To all Margaret's family, take time to reflect on the deeds that your mother has done. Cherish those hugs, phone calls emails and all else she gave.
My heart is heavy yetnfull of her love.

We have such fond memories of Margaret, her kindness and generosity to us and our girls will never be forgotten.
She made us feel so welcome and comfortable with lovely big chats and funny stories that would make us smile and laugh 😃

Dearest Margaret,
Thank you for welcoming me into your life with such open arms and kindness. You became so much more to me than just “Bron’s mum”. You were someone I genuinely treasured and always felt so comfortable around.
I will miss our little chats and the laughs, and the days where we could pop in and see you during our breaks. I feel so lucky to have known you and to have shared the last couple of years with you.
