Passed away suddenly at Colac Area Heath with family by her side. Dearly loved wife of Keith (dec). Loved mother and mother in-law of Amanda, Kirsten, Daniel and Belinda. Cherished Nanna of Liam; Angus and Murphy.
Re-united with Dad.

The Funeral of Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Chambers will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac on Friday, September 22, 2023 commencing at 2.00 p.m.
The Funeral will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.

Members of the Colac Lake Red Cross Unit were greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Elizabeth. Our sincere condolences to her family. A member of both the Lake Colac Unit and then Colac Lake Unit when we amalgamated, Liz was our longest serving member with over 50 years to her credit. Liz served as our treasurer for many years and was very involved in catering when we provided meals in support of disasters in our area, from bushfires to SES searches and a range of events in between. Her presence at our activities will be greatly missed.

R.I.P. Dear Liz.
We had the best time, living in Alexander Street,
where we raised our beautiful children.
Amanda was born in December and Fiona in
February (best friends forever) You then had Kirsten,
a shadow to the older girls.
Then Daniel came along, the first Chambers boy.
Then we had Sonia. followed four years later by
Adam, another proud Chambers boy. .
You and Keith, and John and I,
treasured the family times we spent together,
Especially all those Birthday Parties.
And of course all those Photos and Movies.
Back beside Keith at last,
which is what you always wanted.

Mum I can’t even explain how I am feeling. You were always there for me through good times and bad (and you know there were many of those!) You always told me to be myself, reach for the stars. You gave me my love of cooking and inspired me to follow in your footsteps and become a Home Ec teacher. I cherish the time you Dad and I travelled together when I was in the UK. Thank you for creating special family memories and moments when Amanda, Daniel and I were growing up. Lastly thank you so much for helping me be a good mother and bringing up the most wonderful and amazing son. Love you Mum xxx

Mum. You were intelligent, proud, independent and stubborn. And you loved me. You were one of my early role models when it came to having a career, and you showed me how good people give back to their community in both big and small ways. You taught me to value education and to own my opinions (even if at times it made us clash lol). I know the last decade has been tough for you (aging sucks it seems) and the loss of Dad was profound in your world. I am comforted this week knowing that somewhere in this universe you two have found each other again. Love you. Amanda xx
