  3. To my beautiful sister Mary who left us suddenly on Monday 1st June 2026.
This was the saddest news we received in many years from Graham.
Mary our first sister of our family of seven girls and one boy was and always will be in our memories.
She was happy when she was with her family, loved the simple things in life and having a good time and fun and laugher, kind and giving to all.
Blood is what relates us to her but much more makes a sister our great sister.
Bonded by life that only she and we have lived for her 76 years.
She lived a long way from family and sisters but no distance could set us all apart.
She is the other half of all of us.
It's a sister's bond that we will always behold.
    Missing you .
RIP my beautiful "Our Mary" who art in heaven with family. Love you eternally. Sleep in peace.

  6. Our beloved Mary

You were family to us from the moment we met. The countless memories we shared, the laughter, the conversations, and all of our fun sleepovers are moments we will cherish forever.

You were one of the most caring, loving, and genuine people we have ever known. Your beautiful smile could light up a room, and your warmth made everyone around you feel welcome and loved. You always had a way of making people laugh, and your kindness and thoughtfulness never went unnoticed.

We were so lucky to have you in our lives. The love you gave so freely and the special memories you created with our family will stay in our hearts forever. Life will not be the same without you, but we will carry your spirit, your laughter, and the love you shared with us every day.

Thank you for being such an important part of our lives. We will miss you deeply and remember you always.

    Love and miss you

  8. Dearest Auntie Mary,

The world feels a little dimmer without you, but my heart is so full of the incredible memories we shared.

I will always cherish the great laughs we had whenever we were together, especially our unforgettable nights out at the casinos just a cuppa tea and a good gab !

I’ll miss those fantastic Scottish parties, watching you dance the Highland Fling and even the beautifully over-punctuated text messages that always made me smile.

Thank you for bringing so much joy, vibrant energy, and love into my life.

    Rest in peace, Auntie Mary.
You will be missed beyond words, but never, ever forgotten.

    With all my love

  11. Goodbye to a treasured sister in law. I'm so glad that we managed to meet up when you came to Scotland with Graham. It was nice to go over old times with you and I am so glad you managed to find happiness in Australia with Graham after the tragic events here all those years ago.
You will be sadly missed as you lit up any company you were in

  12. A truely wonderful woman. Who didn’t just make me feel welcome in her home, she made me feel like one of her family.. Visiting her with Johnny when we were on leave felt like going to visit my own mum in Scotland. That’s how special she was..

  13. A Tribute to My Sister Mary
Today, I say goodbye to my beautiful sister Mary, who left us far too suddenly.
Although she lived in Australia, so far away from home, she was never far from our hearts. No matter the distance, Mary always had a way of making us feel close. Every time the phone rang and it was Mary, I knew I was about to have a laugh.
She was the life and soul of every party, full of fun, warmth, and a wonderful sense of humour. She loved a giggle and could always find something to laugh about. Even on ordinary days, she had a way of brightening them with her cheerful spirit and infectious laughter. I remember one phone call when I was feeling particularly low, and within minutes Mary had me laughing so hard I could barely speak. That was her gift—she always knew how to lift people’s spirits and make them feel loved.
The thing I will miss most are her calls, the laughter we shared, and hearing her familiar voice at the other end of the line. Those moments were a gift, and I will treasure them forever.
Mary leaves behind so many happy memories, and while our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the love, laughter, and joy she brought into our lives. She was a wonderful sister, and her memory will live on in all of us who loved her.
Sleep peacefully, Mary. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and always be missed.
    Your loving sister,
    **Anne David **
