Condolences to Dianne and family. Phil and I first met some years ago when I was at Forrest footy club.We got to form a strong mateship and then later on when he recruited me to the CDFNL our mateship continued. Phil and I locked horns on several occasions with heated discussions on footy, politics etc. but at the end of the day we were still good mates.
Evie and I will miss you Phil.

To Dianne, Daryl, Chris, Simon and Families I send to you from my family to yours our heart felt sympathy on the passing of Phillip. With our long time association together over many years as friends serving our beloved footy club Irrewarra and then Irrewarra Beeac It has to be acknowledged the amazing contribution he made personally, as well as the lads all growing up playing footy there as well. An astute leader who never procrastinated and got the job done.... much to the amazement of fellow committee members. Also known for his outstanding contribution to many other community based events and sporting organizations such as pony club involvement at state levels.I had the pleasure to take a delegation of business people to the outer reaches of Xinjiang, China which Phil was kind enough to come along on that occasion. We experienced visiting a totally modern computerized CCP state owned massive dairy enterprise milking 1000 head at a time with another two herds. On inspection of the milking and looking at productivity report Phil commented something was drastically wrong, he asked to inspect the feed silage, noted excellent clover content, drove his hand into it and said there's your problem....your cutting it at the wrong time. He advised, fixed their poor productivity issues on the spot. This was Phill's ability to solve problems on the spot. CHina has milk flowing out their ears and never looked back since Cobb's visit. Rest in peace old mate until we meet again.Rest easy... Hot rod.
