  10. You were always a character with a great laugh and so many quotable phrases. I’ll always remember your sponge cakes and the house on Wilson Street. The family resemblance between you and Mum had you undoubtably as sisters at first glance and Lawrence’s through and through along with your brothers, Uncle Frank and Uncle Tommy. Your kindness, your laughter, your open home, the wonderful children you raised.

You will be missed greatly, Aunty May, and loved always. ❤️

Sending my love, hugs and condolences to all of my cousins and their families.

  22. Dearest May,
Thank you for being that familiar special someone to Mum and I, you knew who you were to us. Thank you for sharing all of your stories, providing encouragement and being proud of me and my achievements. You were so supportive and made anyone who walked through your door feel valued as your friend and visitor. You made me laugh, I loved your wit and bluntness and the fact that you knew what mattered in life, the little things are the big things. I will miss you dearly and I know Mum will miss your phone calls and letters/postcards. You were a one of a kind. Lots of love, Maureen and Elise

  29. My deepest condolences to Darren, Gail, Megan and all the family on the loss of one incredible woman. Miss May you treasured me like one of your own family and even called me an adopted granddaughter, you were always there to be an ear to chew off, a shoulder to cry on and a wealth of advice. You were also not afraid to tell me to pull my socks up and put me on the right path if needed, as you said “I call a spade a spade and tell it like it is, true story”. You were so thrilled and proud when you found out I was pregnant and I am absolutely devastated that you never got to meet my special little man as I know you would’ve adored him, I’ll be sure to make sure he knows how much you loved us. Thank you for all your love, support, advice and plenty of laughs. I will miss you terribly, the world is poorer without you but we’re all richer for having known you. Rest In Peace beautiful lady ❤️
