Died peacefully but unexpectedly on Sunday. Doug will be sadly missed by his wife Joan. Father to David and Jane and father in-law to Sue and Trevor. Grandfather to James and Michelle, Adrian, David and Madison; and Trent. Great grandfather to Lola. Doug returned to Colac where he had spent much of his life to be near his family and friends.
Funeral Notice
Service: Friday August 9, 2019Requiem Eucharist will be offered for Mr. Doug Cowan at Ss. Johns’ Anglican Church, cnr Hesse and Pollack Streets, Colac on Friday, August 9, 2019 commencing at 11:00 a.m.
In accordance with family wishes, Doug will be privately cremated.

Always enjoyed speaking with Doug & Joan in Mooloolaba, Qld as they walked their beautiful dog and sat and talked about family and Colac friends during their coffee & cake treat. We knew them for a long time living near us on the Sunshine Coast. RIP Doug C.
