5. Deepest sympathy to Andy, Craig, Kelly and their families. Mal was one of a kind, energetic, funny, generous and hard working a wonderful mate. His passing has left a huge void that will be impossible to fill. I wonder if he Is sleeping now? Many times over the years he woke me by coming into my bedroom and yelling an inch from my ear “sleep when you’ve dead” this was always at some ridiculous hour like 4.30am, when the earliness of the hour was pointed out to Mal he would say “bull#@$# you lazy coot the days half over” Rest in peace Mal.

   We didn’t know Mel that long but it was long enough to know he was loveable and very funny. Mel always had a story to tell. Mel always saw the best in people. As Rhys’s mum and Nan to see the relationship between Mel and Rhys was very special. RIP
