Passed away peacefully at Colac Area Health, surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband of Leila for 63 years.
Adored Father and Father-in-law of Debbie and Allan; John and June and their families.
Funeral notice
Monday December 05, 2022
The Funeral of Mr. Graeme Frederick Ernest Day will be held at the Colac Uniting Church, cnr Hesse and Manifold Streets, Colac, on Monday, December 5, 2022 commencing at 10.30am.
The Funeral will leave the Church at the conclusion of the service for the Whoorel (Birregurra) Cemetery.
For those that are unable to attend, click here to view the live-stream.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Colac Area Health. Envelopes will be available at the Church.

Sympathy to Aunty Leila, Debbie, John and family.
My dear Uncle Graeme so sad to think we won’t see you again.
But l have great memories of my past young life sitting in log trucks while you and my dad Neville Day were rolling logs onto the truck.
Riding our horses to your Tanybryn sawmill.
Milking cows in the old walk through dairy.
Uncle Graeme and my dad Neville building Paling fences from the timber they cut. Their concrete business they took over from their Uncle Les Day. Building & plastering houses with their good friends.

I understand the sadness you are faced with and hope the beautiful memories of a kind hard
working family man will give you comfort. Mr Day welcomed me into the family home many years ago and extended the welcoming to my family.

I have such fond memories of the times I spent at the farm in Apollo Bay, so many years ago. Mr Day was such an easy going, friendly and warm man who made our visits so nice and special. Also thinking of Mrs Day, Debbie, John and families especially at this time.

As we get older, We realise that our time on earth is precious.
Our brothers have all gone now and Graeme is the last to join them.
This week I have seen you getting about the farm as a kid ...... I see you good brother.

We last caught up with Graham some time ago at his 70th birthday celebrations which he had organised for us to attend. Our memories of Graham have not changed over the years; a warm hearted, friendly, caring person. Our sympathy & love is extended to Leila, Debbie & John & their families.

He was a Charter member of the Lions Club of Forrest & District and holds the distinction of being the Club's first President. Wonderful memories of sharing great times with Lion Graeme.
