Much loved husband of Chris. Loved father and father-in-law of Dale and Mel, Nicole and Jarrod (Schenscher). Much loved Pa of Thomas and Samuel.

Get directionsThe Funeral of Mr. John Patrick Drayton will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac on Friday, January 23, 2026 commencing at 1.30pm.
In accordance with family wishes, a private burial will be held
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the “Well Being Centre” Campaign at Colac Area Health, envelopes will be available at the service.

I had the privilege of not just your coffee visits from you but also working along side you for a number of years. Close mate for around 55 years and still coming to terms with your passing. Mario was one of the names DRAYTO ...Johhn Drayton and I often called each other along with Guiseppe, black slug and mate. Drayto and I go back to the early days playing footy and tennis at the Warra and ended up being neighbours for 30 odd years. Drayto was a part of a very large group of friends that was formed all those years ago and stood the test of time ....all of us close and if you were to have a twin brother from another mother Drayto was mine. I send my love, prayers and condolences to Chris, Nic, Dale and families as well as all the Drayton family who became like a big extended part of our friendship..May the many beautiful memories help you through this sad occasion. Drayto I didnt see you often these last few years, but always knew you were there...will always remember every hilarious time we shared together, loved you like a brother you were enormous in my life.
