Tributes
Leave a tributeGed was a true character. He was a genuine, compassionate and generous person. My involvement with Ged with the establishment of the Vic Country Over 60's cricket team demonstrated many of his outstanding qualities. He did all the grunt work getting the club off the ground has meant that he has left an indelible mark on all those associated with the club. He will be greatly missed as a great contributor to society.

To all Ged's Family I extend my deepest sympathy and condolences on his passing. Ged spent a number of years working with me and we had a lot of laughs, great conversations about sport and life in general. He was a much respected and admired father figure to all the staff and he displayed a very caring nature to his fellow work mates. A bloody good bloke, who in his own way taught me a few tricks of the trade .... and he had many. Rest in peace mate ... Rod Cartwright and all the CQ Recruitment family.

Deepest of sympathies to all Ged’s family. I’m sure Dad ( Gerald) was waiting to greet him with a cuppa and a yarn. Thank you for your friendship to my father and especially a visit you made during covid times to see him in Geelong hospital, when I said you didn’t have to make that journey, you replied no one was going to stop me. I’m still laughing at the stories you shared that day .
