    Bob was such a wonderful man and a great mentor to all us Oates kids.
    While he was always there to support his grandkids in all their sporting endeavours, he also devoted so much time to helping other kids, including us.
    I will be forever grateful for the guidance he provided me down at Colac West CC and the life lessons he taught me at such a young age.
    Bob, you leave a whole that will never filled.

91. Hi Julie . Belated condolences on the passing of your Dad. We have a horse we want to call ” Juliefinch” BUT Trev( my husband) says I need to check with you to see if it’s okay to do so. You have been a follower of our horses for so long I thought it a fitting tribute to name a horse after you BUT Trev wants to make sure you’re okay with it incase the horse is no good and runs last.
