  2. My sincere condolences to all of the Green family on the death of Denise. A very strong friendship developed between the Green and Mahoney families when we were neighbours in Church Street for many years . Lorraine and I often spoke of the wonderful holidays we shared with Mat and Denise on Magnetic Island Qld. in our early retirement years and the very enjoyable most Friday evenings at Church St over many years.

  4. Vale Denise, my good friend for over forty years.
Ill health caused you to withdraw prematurely from your active role in the Colac Community.
It has been inspiring to witness how you have accepted one new health challenge after another with such fortitude and resisted discussing with us how hard it has been for you.
Instead you have been engrossed from your armchair in the lives of your children and grand children, local affairs, Australian politics and extensive reading.
A great friend, wife and mother, an example to us all.

  16. It has been an absolute privilege to be able to spend time with Denise during her regular visits to the Frank Minchinton Centre. So tolerant and patient with us nurses; Denise never grizzled or complained while receiving her “juice”. She knew all about our lives, our children and their interests and sports. She laughed at our stories and shared many of her own. Like the matriarch of our little centre she developed relationships with all the regular patients and was very loved. We will miss her. Sending love and support to the Green family. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Mum and Nan with us.
