Passed away peacefully at Anam Cara House surrounded by her family.
Dearly loved wife of Ellis “Bill”. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Yvonne and Bernie, Marlene and Roy, Elaine and Hans (dec), and Robert. Loved Nanna and Grand Nan to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Finally at home with Jesus.

The Funeral will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.

How I would have loved to be there with you all to thank God for Betty.
She had found her way home a long time ago and aren't we all glad she wanted to share the trick to a life well lived with everyone.Like you Yvonne,Bernie, Marlene,Roy,Elaine,Robert and families. Shirley,John,Tracey and David, we will miss that lighthouse but always be very grateful for it --including the memory of all her exuberances and strange utterances.

So mad with myself that I missed the moment of sendoff.
How I would have loved to join you all in praise to God for her faithful witness to the world.As you, her children and friends know, this mother and grandmother had found the trick to life and wanted all to know it.
And she did it with such style!I am so glad she kept at it for all those years proving that a life of faith is absolutely the best way to live.

Nanna, we farewelled you today, many family and friends. Memories and smiles, with fond laughter of course. We will miss our visits, your laughter, your genuine interest in how we are going and most of all, your steadfast passion for what you loved.

To Dear Yvonne, Bernie and family so sorry to hear of your Mum, mother in law , grandmother and great grandmothers passing. A lovely social lady always on for a chat and a catch up. We were waiting for the Kings birthday letter we joked. Betty was special and I thought she would get there. Fond memories of Betty close to our hearts.
