Rest in Peace, Dr Higgs. You were a wonderful doctor and a lovely man. I think I was your first patient in Colac and it was a Saturday morning when you were just checking your Rooms. I think it was 1969. Deepest sympathy to all your family – Rosie Philipson (Egan)

Deepest sympathy to Margot and family on the passing of Dr Higgs, he was such a caring doctor and a wonderful man. I was one of his first patients at casualty in Colac when l had a terrible accident off a bike. I clearly remember his daily visits in the hospital making sure that l was recovering. Dr Higgs was The Brunt family doctor for many years, thank you Dr Higgs for all your care, support and friendship.
I first met you (when our family moved to Colac) in 1970, when I was four years old, with nephritis.
You were a godsend for mum over the years for which we were always so grateful.
