  3. What a personality. What a marriage. Roz, what an interesting guy who you have shared your life with. I absolutely loved Trevor's enthusiasm on all manner of subjects - Country life magazines/corduroy trousers/Sydney Swans/Sheltons sausages/Trees/and your lovely town Birregurra. Building the labyrinth at the eye centre in Mount Gambier for me was an absolute pleasure and summed up Trevor's approach to his life, getting in and having a go. Caroline and I are sorry to not be present on Wednesday but you will certainly be in our thoughts.

  4. Our deepest condolences go to Roz and family on the sad news of Trevor's passing. Trevor was such an active, kind and generous supporter of the Birregurra Art Show and the community more broadly. Trevor's knowledge in the creative arts as well as issues relating to the environment were extensive. His contributions to our community will be sadly missed.

  5. We were so saddened and shocked to hear of Trevor’s sudden illness.
When I first met Roz and Trevor he pointed out that we had Growling grass frogs on our dam. This realisation brought me many delightful hours of “ counting “ them for relaxation. Trevor was obviously a great lover of Nature and very Knowledgeable. He was a member of an Owl watchers club I believe, He placed a speaker/recorder on one of our trees to see if any local owls could be heard at night… Well , as I didn’t want to disappoint him … I must admit running down the hill flapping my arms with a recording of an Owl hooting on my phone for his recording machine!!Thank you Trevor for your friendship, humour and the fond memories we have of your visits to our Farm. You are greatly missed by the townspeople. Marie Hall

  6. Trevor was one of those rare humans that so many people have never heard of, but have to thank for all the voluntary community work he devoted his life to, to make the lives of those he would never meet, better into a far off future. Apart from a handful of people in the Golden Plains Shire, many wouldn't know his name, yet I can attest to the many hours he put in with us, a small group of like minded people, at Planning Panels Victoria, VCAT and with the Golden Plains Shire Council and the Surf Coast Shire Council these past 5 years, when I first met him. One of the last VCAT Hearings Trevor helped me out with in the Golden Plains Shire, was finally won in our favour at the end of July, where he sadly never got to see this final earthly win. Trevor was a real character, yet never suffered fools. One of my most endearing memories of Trevor was at one celebratory victory dinner at a local farm, standing by my side looking out their kitchen window and saying it was one of the most beautiful views he had ever encountered. I could not help but agree. It is a stunningly pristine property and thanks to Trevor, and his fighting spirit, it gets to stay that way.
Our community offers our deepest sympathy to his family.
Rest in Peace Trevor. You were a good man.
