Funeral Notice
Service: Friday July 28, 2017The Funeral of Shirley Frances Howlett will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac on Friday, July 28, 2017 commencing at 1:30p.m.
In accordance with family wishes Shirley will be privately cremated.

Just learnt today that we had lost Shirley, 15/06/2020. only 3 months after her son and my friend Troy. I have no doubt she died from a broken heart. I had been trying to contact Shirley over the past 3 years, unknowingly that she had passed. I always thought the highest of Shirley, a lady that had so much love to give, but was unlucky never to have found the same love in return. She was a gentle soul, and would never have a harsh word about anybody.
i have been sending text messages to her phone, calling her number only ever to receive the message the number was not connected, and only when my wife wrote to her earlier this year checking up on her and Max, and today the envelope returned to us ‘return to sender’ and the message that Shirley had passed written on the front of the envelope.
and to the family, if they ever check these messages left by friends and family, i would have attended the funeral and been there for you all. if you ever do check this site, please contact me on 0425 755 452 and would love to catch up. i feel heartbroken and am still in shock at this news. RIP Shirley, hopefully back looking after Troy.
