Somewhere between hello and goodbye, there was Love. So much love.
Marg, I don’t have a single memory of my life without you in it. You have known me longer than any other person in my life. I don’t even know how to process the reality of that earthly relationship now having come to an end. No more dropping in for visits. No shared memories of a lifetime with you. You then became a second mother to me when your shared best friendship and support of 30 years with my mother ended suddenly when she died way too young. We supported one another as we shared in that traumatic journey, but we both kept her memory alive sharing stories over the next 25 years. You have shared with pride, in my mother’s place, Gaby’s journey from a three year old to a career now in medicine, in the exact same way you shared those same journeys with your beloved children and grandchildren. Each and every one of us knew just how loved we were. You were there for all of us in the best of times and in the worst of times, a sympathetic ear always without even a hint of judgement. Even though you came from a large family bursting at the seams, there was always room for just ‘one more’, of which I was one. I feel just so privileged that you welcomed me into your family with open arms. You are still the most beautiful soul I have ever met and the closest person to sainthood I have ever met on this earth. With the deepest of sympathy to Maree, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Kerry and Anna and your extended families. You have done your mother proud making sure that between you, you never left her side, loving her and caring for her until she passed into the next world. What a huge hole will be left in your future lives. Marg, I don’t think any of us are prepared for what missing you is going to look like.
Reunited with your beloved Lindsay and Geoffrey. And hopefully you and Shirley are busy catching up after 25 years apart.

Whenever I hear a word that swiftly prompts me in to song, I’ll know it’s your magnificent wit that taught me to sing.
Whenever I see a bird or blossom that reminds me life is magical, I’ll know it’s your youthful wonder that taught me to see.
Whenever I find kindness in my heart for someone else’s pain or misfortune, I’ll know it’s your generosity that taught me to give.Thank you Mummum for all that you taught and for all of your endless love. You taught us that we are precious, loved and worthy and so you will always be in our hearts.
Your Kimmy

Our thoughts and prayer are with the extended Hulm and Healey families. We hold many memories of Marg over so many years and each of these memories is of a good and true woman who wore an open face, greeted you with an open smile and lived life with an open heart. To be in her company was to experience a unique woman of grace, of a real and deep faith in the goodness of others and a trust in life that all would-be well, even when outcomes were not fair.
To her dear family, may these days bring comfort; may the tomorrows that follow bring a gentle peace knowing there is not a thing more you could have done, and, always in the times ahead hold onto memories that are born of love and yours to keep for a lifetime and beyond…
To Marg, now once again in the company of Lindsay and Geoffrey, the heavens are brighter by one more star…

What an absolute pleasure and honor it is for me to say that Marg (and Lindsay) were the first friends that I meet and have know so well after, first comming to Colac 50 years ago. The fun time that our ‘group’ meet and enjoyed one anothers company, the laughs, jokes with one another that we all shared. The group now, is very few in number, but have great memories of those times.
Sympathy to the Hulm family, you must have carried out a marvellous task, to have Marg at home till the very end. -
