My deepest sympathy to you all during this time of heartbreaking tragedy. I was anguished to hear news of Brendan’s passing even though I never had the privilege of meeting him (having left Melbourne in 1972). My brother, Ronnie Paynter, was taken from us at 21 years of age and I fully understand the permanent pain that is left by such events. I recall one of his best friends was “John Hutton” and now your own family is facing such a dark time in your lives. May God’s love be a special comfort to you at this time. “Ever He walketh beside me, Brightly His sunshine appears – spreading a beautiful rainbow over the valley of tears”.
