Many a day Steve and i played in your garage riding the rocking horse singing two little boys .
I clearly remember the day Steve had a football birthday cake on your front porch and a very large snake decided to join us .
I have such fond memories as a kid with your family ..
You always made the local kids welcome.

J.J ,
What a man. I can just remember him at the Colac High School canteen in the mid sixties , and then our paths came together in 1984 , at the Rotary Club of Colac . In the Rotary year 1988-1989 he was our President and the highlight was the sumptuous suppers served at the Board meetings in Wilson Street .
In the mid 1990's John joined the Stephens Mitre 10 team and was immediately accepted by the other staff despite being an avid "Cats" fan.
Sincere condolences to Dot and John's family . May he Rest in Peace.David And Colleen Stephens

Dear Dorothy,Stephen,Rosemary,Merran, Fiona & families our deepest sympathy to you all on the loss of John who was a life long friend of our late parents Faye & Merv Brunt & family.
So many lovely trips & times shared together so many laughs as John would light up a room with his big grin & banter of jokes. He gave so much as a community man to the City of Colac & so many charities over his life time.RIP John
