Jill was a wonderful neighbour. Her garden was a beautiful haven for the birds and gave her great pleasure. I will miss our over the gate chats and visits. Oh Jill no one could have had a better friend right next door. Condolences to all her family. Joan Duryea

I was deeply saddened to read of the passing of Jill. I have known Jill since our Cobden State school days when she arrived at Cobden in about grade 2. She was a warm and caring lady who loved her family.
Jill will be sadly missed.

A special lady who will be sadly missed.
I have only known Jill for the last ten years but I wish I had known her longer. She was one of those wise, thoughtful people who could have been or done anything she wanted to in life.
We worked closely together at the family history group on the “Almost Forgotten project”, researching and discovering stories about people whose histories had been lost or forgotten. During that time Jill taught me so much – more than just researching tips.
I will miss her wit - those late night emails when she came across something funny that had to be shared immediately, or the stories told over the lunch table at the family history group, always with that laugh and fabulous smile.
Jill left us too early and so unexpectedly.
Deepest condolences to Shaz, Paula, Colleen and families. You were her world.
Rest in Peace Jill.
