Tributes

  1. My beautiful Nan, my best friend, role model, protector, and safe space. I will miss your smile, the twinkle in your eye, your cheekiness, our long conversations, your amazing cooking, your kindness, and your unconditional care and love. Thank you for everything you have ever done for me and my children. Without you, I don’t know what life would have looked like for me. You were my number one supporter, my shoulder to cry on, and the ears that always listened without passing judgment, just loving me and reassuring me that everything was going to be okay.

Thank you for truly seeing me and trusting me, for believing in me, and for loving me so I could believe in myself. Life looks so uncertain without you; you will be missed more than you could ever imagine. I am grateful for every moment we spent together and for having you in my life for longer than you ever understood. I love you, Nanny.
