  13. I wish to convey my deepest sympathy and condolences to Frank and extended families on the very sad loss of such a loving and caring soul mate to you Frank, loving Mother to her beautiful children, devoted Grandmother and loving younger sister to Margot.
Beautiful memories of my Colac High School History teacher, known back in the early 1960’s as Miss Barwood and later Mrs Kervin.
You were simply the best ! I will never forget that left hand, with chalk in hand, writing so confidently on the blackboard in the neatest and most consistently even cursive script ever seen ! When was my job to clean the boards, I found it so hard to permanently remove such an amazing skill ….hated seeing it all rubbed away ! ….the little ‘special’ things we as kids do remember !
Anthea, you were always a dearest friend on a personal level forever toward myself, my Mum and Dad and brother Ian (all now dec’d.) I will miss our many chats Anthea, the great pride you carried in your heart for all in your family so often spoken about with me and your relentless support of all I did as Founder of the Ian Parker Bipolar Research Fund….every chat always ended in the past 14 years with you always confirming ‘With all you have achieved, Ian would be so proud of you Carol ’.
RIP dear best friend. Please give Charlie, Ivy and Ian a big hug from me, til we meet again.

    Margot & Peter

We were deeply saddened to hear of Anthea’s passing last week and wish to convey our love, prayers and sympathy to all her family at this very sad time. Our thoughts go back over 40 years of friendship from the time we met each other following our relocation to Colac. Meeting up with Anthea was always an enjoyable time which invariably became a long chat and many laughs. Friendships which go back many years are friendships to be treasured, and Anthea’s friendship will always remain with us.

Anthea, a loving and caring wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister and friend – now resting peacefully.

    With our love

  24. Dear Frank, Susan, Richard and Peter,Peter and Margot.

Anthea and I were born a few months apart in 1940, and for many years our families shared shared Christmas holidays together in Wye River and Portarlington. We remained in contact until we both graduated as primary teachers and went our separate ways.

It is only today that I found out about Anthea’s passing.

My love and thoughts are with Margot and Peter, and Frank, Susan, Richard and Peter.
