  6. DearKirky,
What an inspiration you were,to us all.
    The new generation of nurses.
Green behind the gills commencing our training.
In the school of nursing,at Colac and Dristrict Hospital in 1979.
    You always showed compassion,empathy,respect.
But most of all, your patients were always cared for with dignity as human beings, not a number.
You spoke of proud pride (as mother's do) of the boys growing potatoes and selling them at markets.
Going home and helping them and cooking their meals
Susan with her netball and her young family. Susan became,my daughter's netball coach, along with her own daughter Jess as well in the team.
What a small world, it is.
What a nurse's reunion and family catch up awaits you,Kirky.
No more stainless steel bedpans to scrub.🤣
Thank you for your guidance and patience. From one green gilled trainee nurse,( from many years ago) to a respected superior nurse.
    Thank you, Kirby.

  7. Dear Kirk.
So many years we worked together at CAH. You played a pivotal part in showing us up and coming new young nurses how it was done and done properly it was. You were certainly a hard worker both in your nursing career and on farm. It was a pleasure to have worked alongside you and share a few laughs and tears along the way. Rest easy xx. Deepest sympathy to your family.
