Great memories of Bill at the Lavers Hill school in the sixties.
He was a great link with my past.
All the best to Liz and families.
With heavy hearts my family remember all the times spent together . The kinder pick ups, the work place humour, the lessons learnt, and the experiences, food and wine shared at home and far away. A caring, loving and devoted husband to Liz, a wonderful role model and dedicated father to Adam, Jason and Drew., father in law to Raquel, Holly and Steph and proud grandfather of Olive.. A kind and quiet gentleman now at peace, always remembered by my family. Judy, Paul , Melita , Renee, Alyse, Tiana, and Madison. ❤️
To Adam and Raquel. So sorry for your loss. May the beautiful memories you shared help you through this difficult time. Thinking of you all.. deepest sympathy to your family. Leonie Bensch
So sad to hear this news.
It was a pleasure working for you all these years ago.
Bill you always made sure I had a beer at the end of a shift or a giant latte when I commuted back to Melbourne after a work.
A true gentleman the kind of guy that makes you want to be a better person.
Bill you will be missed so so much, thankyou for all the lessons in life, quiet. Chats after work, and all the fun times together with You, Liz and your boys…. the brothers we adopted growing up….. My deepest sympathy to Bill’s family. We were mates at Lavers Hill school and with only 4 in the class it sure hits home with his passing. I went teaching and he went on the farm. I wish I had kept in contact. It is comforting to read the other tributes to Bill, a life well lived, rest in peace my friend.
