Passed away unexpectedly at the University Hospital, Geelong with his family by his side.
Beloved brother of Bev. Adored Uncle to Liz and Katherine and devoted Great Uncle to Jordyn, Mark, Milan and Sofia.
Wayne will be terribly missed by all his family and the local Kawarren community.
Funeral notice
A Memorial Service to honour Wayne’s life will be held at Echidna House, Kawarren, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, commencing at 1pm.
In accordance with family wishes, a private cremation will be held.

We will remember many great things about Wayne. He loved Kawarren and was accepted and loved by the community for his bold and brash personality. Wayne had endless enthusiasm for volunteering and local happenings. He called things as he saw it and was usually spot on! He had big friendly welcomes for all and he was passionate about Kawarren and Echidna House. Always ready to roll up the sleeves at every working bee or community meeting. His happiness shone when he was working alongside his Kawarren mates and contributing to his community. Was a privilege to be your friend Wayne.
