  6. I am so sorry to hear of dear Kevin’s passing and send my deepest condolences to his immediate and extended families. Kevin had such a sweet and gentle personality. He was so kind and was such a lovely man to have a chat with. I will be eternally grateful to him for the many many voluntary hours he so sincerely devoted to my Dad (Charles Parker), as a DoCare volunteer during some of the 11 years Dad spent in Otway Pioneer and Corangamarah Aged Care. My Dad and Mum loved you so much. As a family we had the greatest fondness and respect for you Kevin and know you will be truly missed by your loving family. Beautiful memories we have to carry in our hearts.
I am so sorry that I could not make it to the funeral, but have you all in my thoughts.
    RIP dear friend.

  8. I was saddened to hear of the passing of Kevin. My condolences to Mim, Wayne, Raelene, Karen, Janine & Andrea and families. Kevin always spoke of his family and was so proud of each and every one, I know you will all miss him.

Kevin was a ‘forever’ member at Do Care, not only had he volunteered as a visitor for very many years visiting men who welcomed his regular light-hearted chats and laughs to lighten their weeks. He also volunteered with the Mens Group at Do Care and all the blokes were sure to get a chat or a joke with Kevin each month. Kevin very proudly represented Do Care on several occasions at the ANZAC and other Armed Services tribute ceremonies in memory of his father’s war service.

There was often the, “call in on your way home and get some rhubarb,” which would lead to a cuppa and a chat with Mim & Kevin and look at some of his creative pieces from the shed. Kevin will be sadly missed at Do Care but we are so pleased and honoured to have known him.
