Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, aged 83 years.
Much loved and cherished husband of Janet. Loving father and father-in-law of Paul and Lyn, Marianne and Darren, Lisa and Graham, Carolyn and Brett, Nikky and Doug. Adored Poppy of Maggie and Billy; Lucy and Kate; Zack and Grace; Sophie, Mitch and Annabelle; Lewis and Alice. Great Poppy of Blair.

Funeral notice
Friday January 06, 2023
Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Mr. Ian "Cindy" Maguire will be offered at St Mary's Catholic Church, Gellibrand Street, Colac on Friday, January 6, 2023 commencing at 1:30 p.m.
The Funeral will leave the Church at the conclusion of Mass for the Whoorel (Birregurra) Cemetery.

Leave a tributeMy dad, Keith Clifton and Cindy were great mates with love of the Mighty Maggie's. After a loss the meat wasn't quite right for either them.

Dear Janet and family,
So very sad to hear of Cindy's passing..."How ya going brother" was the greeting from the cheeky Cindy as he'd walk into the Birre pub on a Friday night asking everyone in the place how their steak was.....It was 40 years ago that we first met the Maguire family when we moved in next door...I wish we could turn back the clock to those times with all the Birre characters that have slowly passed on...We still love going into Paul and Lyn's shop to give em a laugh and to hear about the Pies......Love Steve and Sarah
