A true gentleman and the love of my sister, Judy's life. You made her happy Tony and we thank you for that, although your time together was cut so short. My condolences to both Tony's children and Judy's, my nephews and nieces, and to the Mahoney family. I was with you in spirit today, Ev.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time, what a lovely send off for a lovely man. Tony will be fondly remembered by all those who knew him.
To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die, the song has ended but the melody lingers on. Flying high with Judith.
Lots of love

Loved nephew of Roy and Joyce Langdon (both dec), cousin of Margaret (dec) Patricia, Marion and Phyllis.
Rest peacefully Tony.July 13, 2021 10:01 am
You put everyone else' needs before your own, Tony.
In your capacity as Council handyman, you cheered the elderly of Colac district, including my own Mum. She loved your Santa Hat at Christmas time!
After Judy though, your bright light faded.
Now those you leave behind are comforted by the thought that your old sparkle will return.
Love and miss you.July 13, 2021 8:10 am
Tony,
People like you are not only the heart and soul of a football club, you’re what makes communities special and inspire people to step up and get involved. You were the friendly face that made our club the best and you will be so greatly missed by all the people whose lives were touched by your kind heart.
(Sorry for confusing you by wearing kneeless jeans on freezing cold days. I know it doesn’t really make much sense either.)
Rest In Peace with your beloved Judy and thanks for being a friend to us all. Our thoughts are with your family and friends.

You taught me to create my signature and sat with me while I developed it. You were there in good times at Kennett River and in the saddest, hardest times for us. You remain in my heart and mind, a brilliant story teller, cheeky prankster and a quietly supportive loyal soul. Thank you for being you, Tony and may you now be warmly embraced by Judy and the other two 'joe's'. Love ya mate, and many hugs and love to your kids and grandkids love from Kylie, Raff and Romi

Tony,
We only spent short periods of time together. There are so many good memories, you made my Aussie life easier. You took me sightseeing and we had fun times filled with laughter. We played sports and games. I also remember our very enjoyable rock’n’roll dancing. When I was having a hard time you cared about me, sat next to me and gave me hugs. You were kind, funny, great, amazing and absolutely you were a true gentleman. Thank you so much for everything, but I never thanked you enough. I will miss you a lot and forever. Reunited with Judith and rest in peace. Condolences to all your family.Naomi from Japan xxoo

It is with sadness that I learned of the passing of our good friend Tony Mahoney.
We have fond memories of Tony as a friend, neighbour, motor cycle mate and who, along with Judy (& respective families involved) loved to Rock 'n Roll. Cheryl & I recall fondly their Rock 'n Roll participation in the Boorowa (NSW) 'Woolfest' festival much to the delight of the locals.
I was in a position to know that Tony was a valued Council employee who was able, in his handyman role, to keep our Colac elderly & infirm residents happy most of the time.
As work circumstances changed for me Tony threw a lifeline & our roles were reversed and I came to work for him. (& Paul & Ray)
This was appreciated at the time and I thank Tony & GLM for the skills & experience I learnt on the job.
Tony would always do you a good turn before he would do you a bad turn - he was a good bloke and he will be missed.
We don't know what happens next, but a good outcome would be for Tony & Judy to be reunited and dance forever more!
