Funeral notice
Thursday August 31, 2023
The Funeral of Mr. Stephen James Mai will be held in the Chapel at Wesley Place, 15 Skene Street, Colac on Thursday, August 31, 2023 commencing at 1:30 p.m.
The funeral will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.

Maizy where do we begin .. you came into our lives and left a huge foot print like your boots .. an adopted son and big brother who was always welcome in our family .. you loved your baseball and fast cars .. but baseball was the reason we got to meet you and the mateship that you and josh had was like no other .. you were protective over us all and we will never forget that
Fought hard till the end but now son it is time to rest, you will never be forgotten and your legacy will live on

The moments we shared together in my younger years still are engrained in my memories.
Along with the elder statesmen at the Braves I can say that you were a fantastic role model that contributed to the growth of me as a person.

Maizy, you have left a hole in my heart that will never heal. I didn't know you as long as most of the boys at the baseball club but I will miss you as much as any of them.
