I was so sorry to hear of Peter’s recent passing.
He was such a lovely man and will be so missed by everyone whom had the honour of knowing him..
My deepest condolences are extended to Anne and extended family members.
Goodbye my lovely friend, I will miss your chats on the street, but have many memories of our coming together in a community capacity with the Ian Parker Bipolar Research Fund and the exciting moment of us featured in the Colac Herald for the opening of the Lake Colac Tea Rooms first Art Exhibition featuring my Artworks.
You always displayed such a friendly, happy presence of Community warmth and I will always consider it an honour to have served the Colac Otway Community in your presence as a Community Volunteer.
RIP dear Peter.
Sending my love, hugs and comforting prayers to Anne and all of Peter’s family during this difficult time.

To Anne and family, Peter was a very good science and agricultural science teacher at the Colac Technical School and was much respected. He always treated people evenly. Just recently I met and spoke with Peter in the street in Colac and was still just as approachable as ever.
Deepest sympathy.

Very saddened to hear of Peter’s passing.
Mr Mercer taught me at secondary school.
Then he taught me at trade school for 3 years.
I then had the privilege of learning from and serving with Cr Mercer for the last 4 years of his extensive time as a Councillor.
A great servant of our community who tirelessly worked on behalf of our community.
Our sympathy to Anne and family.
