Tributes
Leave a tributeI first met Bryan thru our son Tim and a couple of his mates started playing junior cricket with Otway Cricket Club.
Bryan was a person who loved mentoring those young cricketers and later on Tim and myself played senior cricket with him.
It was during this time Bryan became a valued committee member during and after I filled the role of President of the club.
Sometimes we held committee meetings at our home and Bryan
showed great affection to our lab dogs, this demonstrated the love he showed to all animals including the ones he owned over many years.
In recent times whenever we saw him he would ask how are you both going? How's the young fellow (Tim) going and what's he doing at the moment?
followed by how are the dogs going?
Bryan had a love for reading
good books.
It's been a privilege to have known you Bryan.

Always loved the challenge of playing cricket against Brian and the Otway lads. A unique bowling style that troubled many a good batsmen. Off the field a mutual respect and good stories shared between us. Always a pleasure to catch up. You'll be missed by many.

Condolences to Bryan's family and friends.
I'll always fondly remember our trips to the giant auction to see what treasures were left behind.
Long necks and chats at Ditchley Park were great days, even more so when there was a game on.
A great friend to all, you'll be sadly missed.
