With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Edna Victoria Mulgrew, surrounded by her loving family on 27.12.2025.
Devoted wife of Bernie (dec). Loving mother and mother-in-law to Leanne and Darryn, Darren and Karen, Kim and Chrissy, Marty and Rae, Laureen and John and Deanne and Phil. Adored grandmother to 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren with 2 pending. Daughter to Vic and Elizabeth Scott (both dec). Loved sister and sister-in-law to Betty (dec), Tassie (dec), Jean (dec), Don (dec), Dorothy (dec), Mike (dec), Bill, Trish, Stewart (dec), Marion, Donald (dec), Ali and friend to Corrie (dec) and Skippy.

The Funeral will leave the Chapel at the conclusion of the service for the Colac Lawn Cemetery.

Memories of Edna in Howey Court. Always Friendly,up for a chat with her neighbours and their families. Edna had a presence, that made you feel welcomed, comfortable and relaxed.
Frequently, saw Edna and her sisters down the street. They would be joking, laughing between one another. 🤣 Always jovial in each other's company. Edna would always acknowledge you, with chat, before the sister's went on their merry way.

Auntie Edna was always the life of the party with her funny (sometimes crude 😂) jokes… always an entertainer. I will miss our catchups and chats.
The 4 sisters shopping together again and having arvo tea. Lots to catch up on with Bernie and the rest of the family members gone before her.💕

Well Edna you have left us suddenly and the time has come to say goodbye. We have been mates for 86 years. We shared school days and growing up in Colac. I am going to miss you dear one and so glad we saw each other only a few weeks ago. The memories I hold are precious and nobody can take those away. Edna and I worked together as Members of the Cancer Council Colac, Group since I joined in 2006. Her stalls at our events are legendary and included many of her own goodies. A lovely hard working friend and colleague. We will miss you Edna.
