  4. Every Christmas holiday visit Auntie Bet would put on a wonderful evening meal for all including us Bren, Dorrie and my sisters Trish, Julie, Fran and I, cousins from Essendon. There was always laughter, jokes and story telling about farm life during that night. I do remember Auntie Bet's devilish smile and laugh. Thankyou for the special memories.

  5. Sich great memories of the days at Alvie when we lived next door to Betty. I spent lots of time with her and Barney in those days and they looked after not only me but my 3 sisters Eileen Denise and Mary Ann as if we were their own. The closeness never waned over the years. Betty was a great support to my mother and they were very close friends. Betty was great support to Barney on the farm and afforded her children the best of upbringings.
Our love to all the family at this sad time.
Always remember Betty as one of the special people in my life and may she now rest peacefully
